Students completing majors in other areas may earn a minor in chemistry by completing the following courses:
- Chemistry 121 and 122 (General Chemistry I and II)
- Chemistry 221 and 222 (Organic Chemistry I and II)
- Chemistry 311 or (Chemistry (323 or 325) and (324 or 326) (Physical Chemistry)
- One additional course chosen from: Chemistry 212 (Inorganic Chemistry I); Chemistry 213 (Inorganic Chemistry I with lab); Chemistry 231 (Analytical Chemistry I); Chemistry 252 (Environmental Chemistry); Chemistry 350 or 351 or 361 (Biochemistry)
No more than three courses also can meet requirements in a student’s major.
