Students completing majors in other areas may earn a minor in chemistry by completing the following courses:
- Chemistry 103 or 107 and 108 (General Chemistry I and II)
- Chemistry 221 (Organic Chemistry I)
- Chemistry 311 (Elementary Physical Chemistry)
- Two additional course chosen from: Chemistry 212 (Inorganic Chemistry I); Chemistry 222 (Organic Chemistry II); Chemistry 231 (Analytical Chemistry I); Chemistry 252 (Environmental Chemistry); Chemistry 350 (Survey of Biochemistry)
No more than three courses also can meet requirements in a student’s major.
